Chicago Landscaping Project Completion
By now it has been a few weeks or possibly over a month since your landscape consultation meeting with your Client Care Manager and it is time to celebrate your new Chicago landscape. Through a few meetings, the permit process, material selection and when our crews first showed up on your front lawn, we have finally come to the time where you can sit back and enjoy the outdoor milieu that you have worked with us to create. But it does not end here. Milieu Design is dedicated to help you maintain your Chicago landscape and we have several ways to do so.
Final Walk Thru
Upon the completion of the installation of your landscape design your Client Care Manager will schedule a Final Walk Thru meeting. Within this meeting you will walk through your newly installed landscape and review the signed contract and any contract addendums. Your Client Care Manager will be completing a Walk Thru "Punch List" for any remaining items that may need to be completed or adjusted.
Also, at this time you will be presented the Final Project Invoice, a Landscape Maintenance Proposal for your consideration, and detailed instructions on the care and watering of your new landscape.
Landscape Maintenance Proposal
Milieu Design highly recommends participation in our extensive landscape maintenance program, which will extend our guarantee and increase coverage on plant replacement fees. Your Client Care Manager will walk you through our specialized services and help you decide on which program is best for your Chicago landscape.
Post Construction Plant and Turf Watering Techniques
We have also developed a watering program to assist you in the crucial first few weeks of your new plants. Trees, shrubs, perennials and lawn all require a large amount of water within the first few weeks to establish a strong healthy plant. We have detailed for you the specific watering needs that each plant will need during this time. also for your convenience we have posted this information on our website for your future reference.
Additional Landscape Drawings or Details
On occasion a client would like us to produce an as built landscape plan to accompany their new project. We will perform this request at an additional charge. Although due to other projects, such as your project that we have just completed, and due to the intensity of the landscape season and other design obligations at that time, we ask for some time to complete this for you.

Post Project Follow Up
At the time of your final walk through with your Client Care Manager, we will schedule a meeting for six months from the completion of your project to perform another walk thru. Within the six month walk thru we will evaluate the health of the plant material and inspect all hardscape items for any repairs, if needed.
We will follow up with another transmittal summarizing our finding and notifying you that there is 6 months left on your project guarantee.
